SMP 25TH ANNIVERSARY LOGO COMPETITON (DUE BY OCT 22)

• SMP 25th Anniversary Logo Competition (due by 22 October)! Create next year’s 25th SMP Anniversary Logo! Please see our website for a complete list of criteria, but artwork must be original and artist must be a single/unaccompanied Service Member who is E-5 and below. Cannot use, alter or incorporate current SMP Logo. Please submit all entries to Jen Merlo, SMP Coordinator at the Roadhouse no later than 1300 on 22 October.

Criteria:

o Artist must be a single/unaccompanied Service Member who is E-5 or below.
o Original work only
o There is no preferred style.  Logo can be realistic, cartoon, etc.
o Color is preferred but not required
o No sketch drawings
o No profanity or inappropriate content
o Cannot use, alter, or incorporate the current SMP logo
o SMP 25th Anniversary logo will only be used in 2020
o Logo selected by SMP Advisory Committee is the only logo that will be authorized for any and all SMP 25th Anniversary events, marketing, etc.
o Installation SMP Executive Boards will vote and decide on their installation’s winning logo
o SMP Coordinator must submit their installation winning logo to SMPLeadershipSymposium@usmc-mccs.org by 1630 (EST) NLT October 19
o The SMP Advisory Committee will rank the top three submissions on 29 October 2019
o Final logo will be presented January 2020
o The final logo artist will receive a sponsored prize
o All installation submissions will be displayed at the SMP Leadership Symposium in July 2020
o If the SMP Advisory Committee determines submissions are not viable and do not uphold the standards of the SMP, HQMC will decide on a SMP 25th Anniversary Logo
