NATIONAL NIGHT OUT WITH HAVELOCK POLICE DEPARTMENT – 1ST SHIFT!!! (***CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER FORECAST***)

August 3 @ 7:30 am - 12:00 pm

***THIS HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO ANTICIPATED THUNDERSTORM FORECAST ALL DAY.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  Please note that there is another SMP Volunteer event occurring – Friends of the New Bern Public Library on Tuesday, 3 August if you are interested!!***

Volunteer with Havelock Police Department’s National Night Out!!   This annual event (which takes place all over the country) focus on unique ways to prevent crime and drug use!

1st Shift:  Assist with event set-up!  Transportation available!  Meet at the Roadhouse parking lot at 0730; will be returning around 1200.  Event will take place at Walter B. Jones Park at 0745 (2 Governmental Ave. Havelock NC – next to Havelock Police Station).

POC will be Havelock Police Captain Morning.

Please wear weather appropriate civilian attire with closed toed shoes/boots.  Please bring water source, sunscreen, insect repellant, and snacks.
